It's that time of the year again, when all places are covered with snow and ice. That means winter gathering and driving on ice!
13-14.02 at Kure Guesthouse, ~7km from centre of Tartu. If weather continues like it is now, then we'll have a trackday at Ilmatsalu lake.

Exact time table and pricelist is still to come...

Feel free to join, seems you have to decide quite quickly, as there is already 24 participants for track and over 30 for whole event... We might run out of space..

10.00 gathering at Kure Guesthouse, check in etc.
10.45 - Going to track (Ilmatsalu)
11.30-12.00 – Reg and practice, seem slike just one lap for practice

12-16.30 – Track START - I&II try
16.45 – end of trackday
17.00 – back to Kure

18.00 – Evening program, soup etc, possibility to grill, coal and stuff is present, but probably with a such a crowd there can be some delay
19.00-23.00 – Sauna
23.00 - Prizes ang other games
00.00 – Inauguration of freshmen ..
01.00-05.00 – Lights out (of course noone forces you to sleep, but no big noise.. )

Price includes everything, place to stay, track, soup and breakfast.
Price 22€ per face for club members, 28€ for others. I guess we have always counted you as members.. But I am not an organizer so you may ask them for details.

Headcount is already ~50 people and 30 for track..

As some local government office decided to have their own event at the same time, we have to change track location. Not far from original plans. 6.2km from Kure Guesthouse. Driving instrtuctions to http://www.jetimoto.ee/jetikeskus Track was measured 2.2km

I hope the weather turns back to cold. Its +3 here and will be for a while.. Maybe from next week it goes back to normal again.

I hope that there will be colder in EE - the wheather forecast for Riga says that it will be above 0 ten days on

Man tādas nelabas aizdomas, ka ledus būs klāts ar 10-20cm biezu ūdens/sniega šļuru, kas to pasākumu padarīs bīstamu

The bad news... due to weather, no icetrack..
The good news... we will have a slippery road test course at official driving school track, instructors included! Studded tires not allowed, so if you want to do it with your own, use non studded tires. If you do not have them, you can use local school car, old, tired and beaten Toyota Yaris.

So, if you feel, that this is not for you, we understand, if you are not coming..

Ehhhhh.... unfortunately, there is no desire to drive 250km in the early saturday morning to meet a slippery driving school instructor

Could be nice chance for my wife to learn some car control on ice, because we plan to go to Tartu that weekand anyway.

As I said, they have local cars for that, technique is same, needs practice later with your own car anyway. But you get basics there. But its all up to you.. Feel free to step by..

I whould be fine in allmost any car, but to put wife in car she has never been driven before on slippery road whould be too mutch for her.
