or there is that nice thing as yahoo groups mailing system. I mean, I joined up the vintage saab group and guess what - am able to ask questions and get the best answers from gurus like Chip Lamb, Bruce Turk et all.

I guess you both have got some features in common- passion for saabs, yard full of cars and you both live in place where most of regular people wouldn' t mind to stay. Obviously, you both parlez francais.

He`s from Grenoble, FR. Nice climate, warm in summer, Cote d`Azur just a couple of hours drive, Alps just a stone`s threw away and nice Provence just around the corner.
My current surroundings are far from what it has to offer over there.

I have always been amazed about different occupations that owners of saab farms are in. Honestly speaking, I do not think that one have to be a gangster or a PM of France in order to move to a spot like that and host a yard of classic saabs.

I have a friend of a friend of a friend of mine who simply packed his violin or (what ever it is he plays) and a couple of suit cases in his old Volvo 760 and set off to little town beneath Swiss Alps. Met him a couple summers ago- still still plays the instrument, lives there, still drives same Volvo, seemed to be more than satisfied.

Bottom line: I guess that a day will come when I will pinpoint a place in a map where I want to be, back my stuff and set off. In spite of everything else.

Unless I sell my saab along with my soul to devil..

If I can make it back to Benelux within exchange/volunteer project by late summer- that' s cool enough. How about advise on that?

And I still have to complete my MA thesis in public administration either way. To make long story short- in foreseeable future I am looking forward to moving in somewhere in your neighborhood.
